Supply Chain Visualization

All Optilon employees are experts in Supply Chain Optimization. We have a strong belief that with the help of powerful optimization tools and expertise in logistics, planning and optimization great business value can be created. We have personally experienced it at hundreds of companies across the Nordic region. However, we know that powerful optimization engines and qualified consultants is not enough, it is also crucial that the results can be presented in a clear and accessible way so that the employees can understand the results. Equally important is that the results can be distributed to the organization in an efficient manner so that people in management positions and in adjacent processes can see the results quickly and intuitively.

Intuitive, powerful and interesting

An important part of our project is to design portals that as effectively as possible convey the results of our powerful optimization tools. A very good example of the fact that statistics, data and figures can be really interesting and engaging are Hans Rosling's videos on for example global trends and development in the world and the correlation between religions and babies. However he is not the only one who succeeds. Another excellent example is the BI company Tableau Software that Optilon has chosen to work with to visualize our customer companies' situation, not least from a logistics and supply chain perspective.

Tableau's products are based on cutting-edge technology from Stanford University and has been developed from the goal of making data accessible, understandable and interesting to all. You can connect to data sources in a few clicks, then visualize and create interactive dashboards with a few more clicks. A requirement for us is that you, the user can customize reports and portals without the help of consultants or IT department.
